This Privacy Policy explains how Garden Greens ("Garden Greens", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit this website or sign up for updates. Garden Greens is a family owned New Jersey cannabis brand.

Who this site is for

This website is only for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 21, we will delete it.

What we do not do

We do not sell cannabis on this website, take payments for cannabis, or ship cannabis. Garden Greens products are sold only through state-licensed dispensaries. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the Garden Greens list, ask about carrying Garden Greens, or contact us, we collect what you enter, such as your email address, ZIP code, name, business or dispensary name, town or state, and your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site collects basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location based on IP address, pages viewed and referring website. This is collected through cookies and similar tools provided by Shopify, our website platform.

Age confirmation. When you confirm you are 21 or older, your browser stores that confirmation on your own device so you are not asked again on every page. We do not link it to your identity.

How we use information

• To send the updates you signed up for, such as strain drops and restocks, new products and where to find them.
• To answer your questions and messages.
• To follow up with licensed retailers who ask about carrying Garden Greens.
• To operate, secure and improve this website, and to prevent spam and abuse.
• To comply with the law and with cannabis regulations.

Email updates

We only email you if you sign up. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time through our contact page. We do not collect phone numbers through this site or send text messages.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run this site and respond to you:

• Service providers that work for us under contract, including Shopify (website hosting, forms and our subscriber list), Google (we keep a backup copy of form submissions in Google Sheets so our list is not tied to a single provider, and we use Google tools to route your message to the right inbox) and our email delivery provider.
• Our affiliated Garden Greens brands and team, for the same purposes described in this policy, for example to route a retailer inquiry to the right sales contact.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• Business changes, such as a merger, sale or transfer of the brand, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and your choices

Shopify uses cookies that are needed for the site to work and may use cookies for basic analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as expected without them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep your signup information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep messages and retailer inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and as required by law. Backup copies are deleted on the same schedule.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and we limit access to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, you may have the right to:

• confirm whether we process your personal information and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and profiling (we do not do these, but you may still ask).

To make a request, use our contact page and tell us what you would like us to do. We will verify your request using the email address you signed up with and respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal within the time required by law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will tell subscribers by email.
